Assalaamualaikum Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Alhamdulillah it gives us great pleasure to announce that the blessed month of Ramadhan will begin on Saturday 1st March Insha’Allah.
The first Tarawih will take place after Isha Salat on Friday 28th February.
We will be praying 8 Rakaat of Tarawih followed by the Witr prayer.
Please take note of the following:
- Please check the timetable for when Isha and Tarawih times change.
- Please consider car sharing to reduce congestion and make parking easier.
- Please respect and listen to the car parking stewards on site.
- We have additional car parking available at the Lakeland which is a 2 minute walk from the masjid.
- Respect our neighbours. It is absolutely imperative that we do not obstruct drive ways, park respectfully and keep the noise to a minimum on entering and leaving the masjid.
- We are expecting it to be extremely busy, please arrive early to ensure you get a spot inside the masjid.
- Please only bring children if they are able to respect the Salah and can stand and pray next to you.
- We have allocated space for sisters to pray Isha and tarawih upstairs, however, once this is full we will be unable to accommodate additional sisters. The entrance for sisters is at the side of the Masjid.
- We will be holding our Saturday night family talk and Iftars again this Ramadhan. Registration is compulsory and will go live every Wednesday at 6.30pm.
- Wythenshawe Masjid will also be offering Tarawih Salah, for those in local proximity may wish to attend there. There is provision for sisters too. The address is 7, Moor End. M22 4JQ.
